Exporting alerting configurations

The configurations can be used as a backup or a template for importing on the same system or a different system. This feature is available from v10.2.0.

To export the configuration:

1. Open the ESA CLI.
2. Navigate to Tools.
3. Run Export Alerting Configurations.
4. Enter the password for the root user.
5. Select OK.
6. Specify a file name or a directory with the file name. If the directory does not exist, then it is created. If the file already exists, it is overwritten.
7. Select OK. The export file is created in the /opt/protegrity/insight/alerting_export directory.
8. Select Exit to return to the main menu.
