Importing alerting configurations
Use the utility to import the alerting configuration from the export file.
The file to import must be located in the /opt/protegrity/insight/alerting_export directory. This utility imports all the alerting configurations specified in the exported file. The existing alerts on the system are retained. However, any alert configuration with the same name are overwritten.
To import the configuration:
- Open the ESA CLI.
- Navigate to Tools.
- Run Import Alerting Configurations.
- Enter the password for the root user.
- Select OK.
- Specify the file name or the directory with the file name.
- Select OK. The configurations are imported.
- Select Exit on the success message screen to return to the main menu.
