DSG TAC	How many DSG nodes can be registered with the ESA nodes?	Only one DSG node should be registered with all the ESA nodes
	What if the registered DSG node is down?	ESA will be registered to the another healthy node in the DSG cluster.
	What if the I want to change the registered DSG from DSG Node-1 to DSG Node-2?	Perform the Registering the DSG steps. Also, Ensure that the newly added DSG node is registered with all ESA nodes.
	What steps should be performed if all the DSG nodes are removed from the DSG-DSG TAC?	Perform the following steps: Run the ESA communication process on one DSG node. For more information, refer to Setting up ESA communication. Register the DSG node. For more information, refer to Registering the DSG. Add all other DSG nodes to the cluster. For more information, refer toAdding a DSG node.
Log Files	How to check the history of installed patches on ESA or DSG?	Perform the following steps. Login to ESA CLI Manager. Navigate to Administration > OSConsole. Navigate to the /var/log directory and check the patches.log file.
	How to check the Container log file?	Perform the following steps. Login to ESA CLI Manager. Navigate to Administration > OSConsole. Navigate to the /var/log/alliance/dsg_ui directory and check the -error.log file.
	How to check the DSG Registration log file?	Perform the following steps. Login to ESA CLI Manager. Navigate to Administration > OSConsole. Navigate to the /var/log directory and check the register_dsg.log file.
	How to check the DSG Patch installation log file?	Perform the following steps. Login to ESA or DSG CLI Manager. Navigate to Administration > OSConsole. Navigate to the /var/log directory and check the patch_CLOUDGATEWAY_4.0.x.log file.
	How to check the ESA communication log file?	Perform the following steps. Login to ESA or DSG CLI Manager. Navigate to Administration > OSConsole. Navigate to the /var/log directory and check the Installation.log file.
	How to check the gateway deployment log file?	Perform the following steps. Login to ESA or DSG CLI Manager. Navigate to Administration > OSConsole. Navigate to the /var/log directory and check the gateway_deployment.log file.

Deprecated Libraries

From DSG 4.1.0, the following Python libraries are excluded from the default DSG installation. If required, you can install these libraries manually using the /opt/protegrity/alliance/bin/scripts/install_optional_libs.sh script. These libraries will be removed in a future release, and pyarrow is the recommended alternative. For more information, refer to KB Article.

Deprecated Cryptographic Modules

From DSG 4.1.0, py_secure_data replaces py_pcc_crypto (Hades) as the encryption library. The py_pcc_crypto library is retained only to support upgrades and configuration imports from DSG 3.1.0.x to 4.0.0. Support for py_pcc_crypto will be removed in a future release.
